2021 DARK BAY OLDENBURG GELDING

Gelding by Finery (Furstenball/Diamond Hit), out of Wreisentanz (Wolkentanz II/Rubinstein).

2021 Oldenburg gelding by Finery and out of our best producing mare, Wreisentanz! "Frank" is an adorable gelding that is a joy to have on the farm. He is a lovely, athletic mover with three quality gaits. His full sibling that is a year older was purchased by Finery's owner, saying he was the nicest Finery foal they had seen!

Check out his maternal half-siblings on our site - Florentanza, Sincere, and Savita - and you will see what a spectacular mount this guy will mature to be.

Famos is registered with the OHBS with his passport and lifetime registered USEF. He was a fall born foal and didn't get a chance to be inspected for a premium award, but we have no doubt his quality would have earned him one.

Famos had an eye injury as a foal that was quickly and aggressively treated. He loved the extra attention of his round-the-clock treatments and made a full recovery. Multiple vets agreed there are no concerns for impaired vision in his eye, but there is some faint scarring. A prior PPE revealed OCDs (without any associated lameness) and he has already had them removed - he should be clear for all x-rays now.

He has been nicely started under saddle, and has been a breeze to start! His people-loving character has him waiting at the gate for his next ride. He is riding quietly walk-trot-canter and hacks out all over the farm. He rides around bridleless in the arena and in the field. Starting his lead changes and offers them easily! He is growing like a weed and will be a tall, gorgeous boy when he matures. We have multiple mature sisters of his on the farm to show you just how beautiful they grow up to be! He has lovely form through the jump chute and loved it! He has hopped around a course of crossrails a few times and was a very good boy. He will be a total joy to develop and is easily appropriate for an amateur to bring along.
