Young Horse Program

Purchasing a foal can be a fun and exciting venture, whether as a financial or personal investment. At Eclipse Sporthorses, we boast an extensive breeding and young horse program! It doesn't matter if your horse was purchased from our program or not, we would love to help you on the exciting journey of raising a young prospect!

Our young horse program is a long term program where your horse can develop alongside other horses of the same age. We offer a variety of services to suit your goals and budget. 

foal/yearling community

Pasture Board

$475/month: all-inclusive

  • Horses will be grouped with other weanlings or yearlings

  • No-climb horse fencing around big grass pastures with hay supplemented in winter

  • Twice daily feedings

  • Optional enrollment in Preschool Program

  • Horses will be grouped with other 2-3 year olds

  • No-climb horse fencing around big grass pastures and supplemented with hay in winter

  • Twice daily feedings

  • Optional enrollment in a Program below

preschool program

  • It is important for your young horse to be handled. With our preschool program. Your horse will have 3 x 20 minute weekly sessions with our trainers.

  • Activities include brushing, haltering, desensitizing, leading, picking up feet, trailer loading, and more
     

-$150- per month

school-age program

  • This program is designed for yearlings (or younger horses who have passed the preschool program). Your horse will have 3 x 30 minute weekly sessions with one of our trainers.

  • Includes leading to the arena, lunge concepts, ground manners, desensitizing activities
