Training

Limited training services available including colt breaking, dressage/over fences training, and refreshers for older horses.  Horses in training must be boarded at our facility.  For rates and more information, inquire directly to our trainer, Jenni Davids.

Jenni occasionally takes on horses to break and train, using lots of patience and gentle, common-sense methods to develop a sensitive and level-headed mount. Training is customized to each horse's current skill level and speed of learning. Most horses will have an initial period of longeing under saddle before being introduced to a rider and the basics. Jenni is more than willing to integrate the owner into these lessons, when the level of horse and rider allows it to be done safely. Whether on the ground or under saddle, Jenni helps horses conquer their fear of a wide variety of 'monsters' that they may encounter later in life, such as tarps or plastic flowers, that are scary for no reason other than their novelty. Specific training, such as work over fences, trail riding or loading onto/off of a trailer are available by request. Contact Jenni to find out if she has an opening for a training horse.
