2008 Strawberry Roan Welsh Cross Mare

Pixie is a lovely 2008 Welsh/TB mare.  She is a gorgeous strawberry roan with a big star and two socks.  She is a lovely large pony hunter prospect.  Pixie is by the Welsh/TB stallion, Piccolo’s Silver Rum (by Smoke Tree Silver Dragon), who was the top scoring stallion at his RPSI inspection at 2 years old, including Warmbloods.  Pixie is out of the mare, Moon Lake Abby, by the Welsh stallion, Carolinas Peacock and out of a Thoroughbred mare.

Pixie is quiet and affectionate on the ground, bathes, clips, ties, and is great for the farrier.  She has three quality gaits and is very smooth to ride.  She is very easy to teach new things to and not much bothers her. She stays very focused and is sensitive to the aids.  She is going quietly under saddle w-t-c and has the disposition to make a great hunter mount.
